Office Manager & Senior Service Associate
Marina Kreuzenstein is the Office Manager and Senior Service Associate at Boxelder Consulting. She works closely with Boxelder’s lead tax attorney in effort to push each client’s case forward as swiftly as possible. In addition to Marina’s relentless efforts on the resolution side of services, she also emphasizes the importance of communication by keeping each client informed about the progression of their case every step of the way. She prides herself on staying organized and is responsible for managing client deadlines to ensure they are never taken by surprise in their resolution process. You can count on marina to always go above and beyond what is expected – her personalized approach to client services and unfaltering attention to deatil are just a few of hte qualities that make Marina an irreplaceable member of the team.
Born in Juneau and raised in Eagle River, Alaska, Marina graduated with Honors from the University of Alaska-Anchorage with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a minor in Psychology. While in school, she employed her numerical dexterity as an Accounting Aid for the university bookstore, developed customer service skills as a Call Agent for the local underground utility companies, and taught children’s ballet classes at her neighborhood dance studio in her spare evenings. Marina left Alaska for Denver, Colorado shortly after graduation to work with Denver Public Schools as a Math Tutor in the Americorps Math Fellows Program. She coached an after school soccer team at Greenlee Elementary, and eventually found her way to tax resolution at Boxelder Consulting, where she ultimately found employment satisfaction in the Denver office. When the time came to return to Alaska with her fiance (Tim), Marina was fortunate enough to continue her position from her new office home in Anchorage, Alaska.
Marina loves being outdoors and, in an attempt to get enough Vitamin D to make up for the long winters, she uses the summer’s excess daylight in the land of the midnight sun to go hiking, biking, running, and playing disc golf.
